STAR Academy is powered by STAR Team Agency and provides Customer Service Representative (CSR) readiness training and job placement for  inbound and outbound warm live transfer agents. Agents will help customers who have requested insurance quotes or those who need assistance with the Healthcare Marketplace.

CSR Readiness Training for Insurance Live Transfer Agents

Help others find the insurance that meets their needs. Provide support and transfer services for large insurance companies and their agents.

STAR Customer Service Representative’s Full Training is a total of 10 hours. On-the-job script training and call qualification is required to start work. This program provides CSRs with the highest income opportunities with top performers earning $20 to $25** per hour. Agents in this program will help customers who have expressed interest in buying health insurance or those in need of healthcare assistance. Agents will qualify each customer and transfer them to licensed insurance agents and agencies for further assistance. 

** Earnings include a base rate and performance incentive. Actual overall earnings are based on performance. Agents are independent contractors who will work on several different campaigns in the Health insurance or related industry. No health insurance license is needed. 

Outbound Support

Our agents will get in contact with customers who have requested information regarding health insurance options.

Live Warm Transfers

CSRs will qualify each prospective customer for our insurance agency partners and transfer them to the agents who can assist them.

Email Support

Agents will send or respond to email inquiries from customers looking for online quotes for health insurance options provided by our partners.

Marketplace Support

CSRs will qualify and assist consumers during the special enrollment period for the Healthcare Marketplace, formerly Obamacare.

CSR 101: Introduction to star Team agency and The calling systems

2.5 Hours (Remote)
This orientation is by invitation only. You will need to interview and meet requirements. This training gives you an introduction of what to expect. You will get registered for the servicing platform you will use to get on-the-job training and take or make calls for ERS.

CSR 103: transfer practice and mock call/ qualification call

2.5 Hours (Prerequisite CSR 102)
This pre-certification training is designed to help CSRs develop the skills and knowledge of systems, processes, customer service skills and call flow.

CSR 102: Job readiness and calling scripts roleplay

5 Hours (Prerequisite CSR 101)
You get training to complete and pass your mock calls as well as get an overview of your job requirements. During this training you will practice using scripts and prepare for your probation period when taking calls.
